What's the difference between a standard flooded battery and an AGM battery?
The fundamental difference between a standard flooded battery and an Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) battery lies in how the electrolyte (battery acid) is contained within the battery.
Flooded batteries have a free-flowing liquid electrolyte, while AGM batteries use a fiberglass mat to absorb and hold the electrolyte in suspension.

How long should a car battery last?
Our battery town batteries have 24-36 months warranties on them. We generally find 5-10 years.
Do I need to replace my battery if the battery light comes on on my dash?
Not necessarily. The battery light on your dash is actually an indicator for your car's entire charging system, not just the battery itself.
The light means your car is running on battery power alone and is not being recharged by the alternator. If the issue isn't fixed, the battery will eventually drain, and your car will stop running.
